Alexandra Raisman

Aly Raisman was an American female gymnast and a captain for The US female Olympic gymnastics 2012 Fierce Five team and in 2016. the Final Five. At the 2012 Olympics she was awarded gold in both floor for the team and in individual competitions. Bronze was taken by the balance bar. This made her the Olympics gymnast with the most medals. The 2016 Olympics brought her the gold medal in the team event. This earned Gabby as well as Gabby the distinction of being the only Americans ever to have consecutive gold medals for a team. She also won two silver medals, one for the floor and for the individual all-around. After the 2002 Olympics she was off for three years from gymnastics. Also, she was a member of the gold-winning American team at the two World Championships. Her favorite event is the floor workout. The gymnastics training began when she was two years older. Aly is a member of her local Uniting Against Lung Cancer group in memory of her grandma. She hopes to become a fashion designer and expand the range of her Leotards and socks in near future. She's writing a book entitled Fierce to be published at the end of this year.
